it must be getting harder to decide, now that you have our thoughts on it maybe it would be easier to sell the kid, actually when they get a little older they are fun to take riding.

New baby...hmmm...probably better keep the kid till he/she's 18 at least. I've gotta buddy that has owned the same shee since 1989 and would sell his nuts before his "baby"....of course I've only had my DS for a little over a year and you'd have to be nuts to think I'd part with it. That's a darn tough decision indeed! I'm biased...you keep the shee and you're nuts.

the ds will last alot longer than the shee.... you want a machine that will still be running when your kid is old enough for you to take him or her riding right??? go with the ds

Well I own both and love each bike for what there worth to me.

I dont think you can say the banshee is less reliable or wont last as long. Mine has been working great for me since day one. And a few buddies have got some real high milage on theres.

But I think when it comes down to it you will want to get ride of the Banshee.

The DS is just a better bike. The Banshee is a killer to take out and play with, but lets not forget, it uses about 4 times the gas that the DS does, and it also is a kick start and your DS is electric. THe Banshee also has a poor outdated suspention compaired to the huge springs on the DS. And the DS is a faster bike (if you care).

Its a hard desision because as we all know the banshee's 2 stroke is in a leage of its own. It makes power diffrently and requires a diffrent way to drive.

Ask yourself. Last year which bike did you ride the most. And thats your answer.
