Default Rear Sprocket (Toast!!)

After only 5 dune rides my RWR 42t sprocket is worn-out . Any one else having this problem or is there something I should look at on my bike that could cause this?

Default Rear Sprocket (Toast!!)

i have about ten on my woods 43 and was noticing that the woods42 on my wifes is showing signs of wear, it seems if the chain is too tight the life is less. i don't know other options, so if any one does that would be great. i got another 43, but i think i may try the 14-40 set-up.
