my wifes stock engine with the woods cdi and woods pipe revs to 9500, not sure if it does that under load but with the 15-42 it pulls real hard. the carb mount would help. you might want to check on some clutch springs, make sure that power is getting to the tires, plus there $50 or less and they do help.

To get that extra edge change the pipe get a carb mount filter and gear it. If your not satisfied add the carb. This will put you out in front of him by a few bikes. P.s. your kinda small. I probably got you by at least 50lbs. lol.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i keep hearing about the aftermarket cdi boxes having a limit on rpm's? i have had both the ron wood and now a graydon and using my tach both would rev past 9000 rpm all the way to 10,000. unless they changed them sense 2 years ago there is no limiter.
