I am sure this has been brought up before but imagine a Hayabusa engine transplant in a DS?
156 HP stock!? The bike weighs in at 500 pounds?

well it would limit the number of people willing to race, and if you spanked everyone you would miss that feeling of edging out the others

I have seen R 1's, cbr 600 900 and 1100, and haybusas in Banshee frames. I have also seen R 1's in raptors and two many motorcycle motors in 400ex frames. But I am yet to see anything matted into a Ds frame. Has anyone? I think the Ds frame would give you the most space to drop just about anything into it. Has anyone started a Ds project? It would be a beast of a machine with a Hayabusa motor thats been modded (around 220 horsepower). Think you could hold on to it?

175 at the crank, yes.
Rear wheel (on the bike) is anywhere from 148 to 160.3

That much power would only spin to the tires to oblivion...even on pavement. I saw a Baja running a 50hp shot of Nitrous Express and many other mods...all it would do is spin everywhere.
