I HAVE A DS650 STOCK AND RECENTLY I RACED MY FRIENDS PREDITOR THAT HAS A WHITE BROTHER MUFFLER ON IT AND I SMOKED HIM SHIFTING INTO 3RD GEAR. WE WERE RACEING ON THE GANDY DANCER IN WISCONSION. WE DID A DRAG THAT WAS ABOUT 2 MILES. AND THE GANDY DANCEY IS LIKE PACKED SAND AND DIRT. SO I WOULD SAY THE DS 650 WOULD BET THE PREDITOR ANY DAY IN A DRAG I MEAN THE PREDITOR IS A 500V.S650

raced a predator this wknd on comp hill at florence, won by about 2 bike lenghts, the only mod I could see was a pipe which is about all I have done to mine,the guy was about half my size though.....so I figure I beat him worse than the results showed.....

A ds would be good in dunes or something like that........but if you are in narrow trails or MX......get a predator......

 

A DS is as good if not better than any bike in any condition (trails, dunes, drags and cross country). I ride with people in all conditions with every model quad there is. It's all in the rider.

If you make your living by racing wooded trails you won't be on a stock production bike anyway. If you just trail ride in the woods for fun you'll just need to be a better rider.
