I think it would be the reverse.. When I set my suspension it actually increased its hole shot ability and reduced wheel spin..

With a stage one kit you are making more power and torque down low thatn stock. Try this set up. Keep the 22 in tires and run 15/40 gearing, 1st through 3rd you are geared so low that you are blowing your tires off. Gear up add take advantage of the extra power you have and you will stayin your torque range longer. The ds is will turn more rpm with the rev limiter but 8500 is the ceiling in my opinion. Take of in secon gear around 5500 and see how this works for ya.

 

I had 15/40 gearing but was not able to rev it out in 5th gear on the top end. So I went down to a 14 front..
