Default clutch springs

has anyone tryed running the heavy spring every other one? i have the light woods springs in my wifes ds, and she does notice the extra tension, but she may need more soon, but not sure she can handle the heavier springs. i have the tvi springs in mine and she really doesn't like those. and i hear the pami springs are even harder to pull.

Looking into clutch springs too, lets see, Barnett clutch springs from Alba are $15.99 and Ron Woods start at $50 or something. I guess it depends on your present mods or your future mods. Anybody use Barnett springs and would you use them using 22" extreem Haulers, 15 tooth sproket with cdi, and 45 mikuni to follow, or get Ron Woods 2nd generation midrange springs to be on the safe side. Man thats Quite a price spred! Maby barnetts are ok but if you weigh say 230 lbs maybe the Barnetts are just not going to cut it.

Sandman i ran the dunes this weekend for the first time with the RWR 60% springs, i got used to the lever real quick, its not too hard to pull but i have never ridin another DS with aftermarket springs to compare it too, the engagement is the same as stock, It did not slip once the whole weekend, before everytime i dragged it would be slipping by 500' down the strip, so they work great soo far, like i said cant be much help to ya cause i havent riden any others to compare to

I have the lite woods springs, $24, had them for over a year, never a slip with haulers in dunes.
I just finished some mods, wondering if the springs will still hold up to haulers in the dunes, 10 paddles, we'll see later this month.
Haulers were the only thing that made my clutch slip in the past.
