Well I have the TVI springs and I am still on my first clutch!!! And i wack the hell out of it!! My big question now is, I may need some new clutch plates after the mods I have done and also the 2 times this week I got radiator fluid in the oil. Who has the best deal on a new clutch?

When I ordered my springs from TVI Gary told me his were between the RWR 60% and the Pami's. Sounds like a good compromise.

i put synthetic oil in my ds after the first oil change, well it seemed to work fine well i put 20" 9 paddle haulers on and all seemed fine , well i was running a 17 front and all seemed fine. well i finally made it to comp hill and thing seemed ok. well figuring out that 17 wasn't good i switched to a 15 well that is when i noticed the first sign of slipping. well i call woods and have him send a set of springs, they helped for a short period. well at the time knutz wasn't doing business so i didn't know what to get. well sandfest came around and i meet gary at tvi and he had these fancy red springs. well i shortly there after got those and the hook up was good, then i switch to a 15-43 set-up and all was good, then i went to stage two and the wear on the plates had taken there toll , when going to fourth it was like a automatic. well gary sent a new set of friction plates and switching away from synthetic to torco 10-40 and that clutch has no slippage. but my wifes with the same oil (torco) has never slipped, and the regular woods springs work great for her but any more mods and she may start to see the problem.

I'll second that Mark, I switched from Bombardier's synthetic oil to HP4 & all seems well!

HP4 is all that my quad has ever had to guzzle. It keeps her regular.

I use Honda HP4 10W40. I buy mine along with the filter at a local Honda dealer that also carries Bombardier quads. It's the only thing I'll use in my quad.
