Anyone running a ported head w/ stk valves?
I have a stock valve head, with port work, and the port work made a BIG difference. DSmike has gotten all you can gett out of a stock valved head, and he does very well against the big bores, But I'm sure he would like to get his hands on a RWR stage3 head and give it a whirl
But for the majority f the guys that runn normal high compression motors 11.5/12.5 I think thier is little gain in large valves, but a little gain,is STILL a gain, right?

My buddy just broke a vavle this past weekend. Said the valve guide had an egg shape to it. I want bigger vavles but not as big as what Ron Wood offers. Maybe 1-2mm more.
Anyone here using a lectron carb? DId ya use the stock thumb throttle cable to get it to run?
