Elliot at Ron Woods said you should definatley sand them in like a 90 degree pattern with I believe he said a 240 grit sand paper.

Default clutch question??

the springs are suppost to be of a certain size and i'm sure sanding wouldn't help with this.

Default clutch question??

That had to be a typo. He must have meant plates instead of springs.

Will sanding the plates make the clutch grabby?

Default clutch question??

SANDMAN430 SANDING THEM WITH A FINE SAND PAPER SUCH AS 600 GRIT DO NOT USE 240 GRIT TO ROUGH 600 GRIT WILL NOT HARM THE STEELS IT WILL ONLY GET THE TOP LAYER A BLUE OFF OF THEM IT WORKS MY CLUTCH IS NOT SLIPPING ANYMORE

YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO BUY NEW CLUTCHPLATES AS LONG AS YOU GET PAMI OR TVI SPRINGS AND KEEP THE STEELS SANDED ABOUT ONCE EVERY 6 MONTHS OR UNTIL THEY START SLIPPING

Default clutch question??

Yes I think that the clutch fibers may be harder than the steel plates!
