Default has anyone run 14- 43-42

the dunes are real steep right now at the oregon dunes and normally a 15-43 works great but with the wet sand and the incline it sucks the power right out of the machines. i ordered the 14 fronts for my ds's but was curious if anyone had run these. i checked the speed calulator and i find that that might be similar to my wifes 15-42 with the 20" paddles that combo has been working great for her. i know i will get killed on the flats but we only run there 2% of the time the rest is trail and hill races. well thanks for the feed back and camp is real close so i can change really quick if it doesn't work.

well the bigger the foot print the better you will leave out of the hole. if the quad is stock the 8 would be the one i would chose. if the sand is real wet the 20" works nice, you will have to trim the heel guards with the 22

How much do you have to trim? I'am going to put a CDI on and the ALBA kit.

the part that sticks out beyond the flat part, trim it up to where the fender comes in, heel guards will also slove the problem. i have a couple sets of 20" paddles because i was told 22" would rub, and they do but they didn't tell me about the easy fix well hope that helps.

So you think 22x11x10 extreams with the alba full kit and cdi is a good call?
