Default correct jetting for a Trinity pipe

I just got my Trinity pipe bolted up and installed the jetting they sent and I am not impressed, I think it ran better with my custom end cap, does anyone have any better jetting specs. I am pretty much stock other than a RWR CDI and K&N filter in airbox. PLEASE HELP

Hey man I had Trinity issues too. BUT... I threw a 200 dynojet in, left my 45 pilot (stock) and it was about as good as stock. Then I put the sparky on. That really woke her up. The added back pressure helped alot. I was going to send my pipe back but after I fine tuned her she really came alive. I have a RWR cdi and K&N too. Take your lid off if you haven't already and turn your air/mixuture screw out about 2.75-3 turns. That is where I am at and I am finally happy with it.

Did you go with the trinity sparky, and did it make a big difference?

Yeah man it was a trinity sparky. I could tell it made a difference, plus it knocked the db's down a little. I did blow the screen out already. I think I had it in wrong. Oh well I will just cobble something in there. The low end is crazy. I can bring her up easy in first and second with little effort. I am going to gear her up a little I think.

I've got mine jetted to a 180 main now with the lid on and it pulls easy wheelies in 1st and 2nd gears, I might try to fab up a sparky of my own before I spend another 60 bucks on a pipe that seems to be all talk and not much walk.

stockbomb, are you happy with your pipe yet? i just got my trinity in the mail yesterday...haven't put it on yet cuz i don't know much about these things, but did you get jetting with it? i took my out of the box and seem to only have the headers, muffler, mids and some screws and such. also, i didn't see where trinity sold spark arrestors on their website...don't really need one right now since i ride at the dunes though...oh, do you have stock carb. if so i have basically the same setup as you. thanks

Yes I did get it to my liking after I found out I was changing the wrong jet, I was changing the mid jet and not the main, the main is the one in the little cylinder. I'm running a 185 main and smokin similar set up craptors all day long. Use some high temp silicone on all connections and let it set up a day before you run it or it will leak at the joints. GOOD LUCK
