Default Clutch case problem!

Has anyone broken off that tab that holds the cable on the clutch case? Is that case made of aluminum or Magnesium? If you did break it off how did you repair it? Thanks.

Angry...are you talking about the molded into the case split ring that the cable slides into, or the actuator lever? I believe the cases are aluminum...you should be able to get it welded there in L.A....dang youre having some crappy days!

Hey angry, if your talking about the little peice that holds the clutch cable to the case, mine broke off the first month i owned the DS, I zipped tied the cable to the oil line which is right there and it has been like that for almost two years, it never lifts over the little detent and the only thing holding it is a little pressure and that zip tie............. If it keeps workin i aint gonna replace the whole case
