Default Camshaft bridge torque

Hi everyone. I know that the camshaft bridge bolts need 10 NM of torque. My problem is that I torqued them to about 12.5 NM. They just didn't seem very tight until 12.5, not to mention I had a real piece of crap torque wrench that I brought right back to the store. So do you think 12.5 is not good?

yea 89 inch pounds is equivalent to 10 newton meters. That was another problem because my torque wrench only had newton meters and foot pounds. but I went to 12.5 newton meters because it felt better. Do you think 12.5 is going to be bad.

Somebody tell me something. I've heard someone say that theirs was overtorqued by the dealer and all it did was change the valve clearance.

As long as you didn't strip it, you're good to go.
The oil kind of helps it along and gives you false torque readings (ie. too tight)
Be careful with those things. That aluminum isn't that hard.
