ds 650 question help please

Default ds 650 question

ijust bought a 2001 ds 650 the choke was stuck open so i changed the oil a couple of times and now the oil pressure light comes on after i ride it for a half an hour ive heard your supposed to bleed the oil system if the light comes on and stays on but it dosnt come on for a while the first time it came on is when i noticed it had gas in the oil how do you get the bleed screw loose

if you have gas in the oil you have even bigger problems ,like a cracked head or the sleeve

that red light also means the water is getting hot in the cooling system.

I'm with sandman on this one, if the light doesn't come on for 1/2 hour after you run it sounds like water temp to me , easy way to find out just unplug the wires from the oil switch and see if it goes out ,if it does it's the water system. I just went through the bleeding process last weekend, I just used a very large screwdriver that fit the slot nice and tight put a pair of pliars on the handle started twisting while tapping the end of the screwdriver with a hammer, Busted her loose easily.
