Is a Mikuni HSR 45mm carb a good mod for a stock bore? Or is it too much carb.

It all depends on the type of riding you due. Flat track racing, dirt drags, high speed dunning or open desert or if you spend most of your time riding in 4th or 5th gear good carb. If not you will be happier with the HSR42. This carb will out flows the stock carb and will have better and quicker throttle response.

The stock carb is the BSR 42 has a butterfly and works off a vacuum, The HSR is a flatslide carb
