For those who run LED bulbs in the back light, how many LEDs are in ur your light? Is it as bright as the stock one? How much did you pay for it?Where did you get it? Have you had any burn out yet? Sorry for all the ?s but i'm tired of burning bulbs out n this seems like the only alternative

i got mine from led brake light cost 40 bucks and it is 6 inches in lenght and has laster over 2 seasons.
led are generally better because they are durable and the dont draw half the amps of halogen bulbs. mine has survived jumps, rollovers, wheelies, etc. you name it it still runs strong

i got my 1157 replacement led from Autozone - many auto parts stores carry them. they work great, last forever, no more replacing. cost me $7 I think it was.
it faces to the right though, so the right side of the housing is brighter than the left, and appears odd. but its better than no light!
