St. Anthony's this summer!?
Well I guess it all depends on Planet X!!!! LOL I may leave the 13th of May to avoid being drowned out by the Ocean on the 15th!! I will probably be leaving on the 23rd or so for Memorial Day weekend and stay in Little Sahara, UT with Major and AL. But If I leave earlier I will spend Memorial day weekend t St. A's with DS Aholic! If he remembers to save me a spot!!!?? But I will be there for probably all of June and the first 2 weeks of July.

I am new to the sport and, fortunately, live in Idaho exactly 1hr 14min from St. Anthony. Most of our riding is there. I would like to show up and see how real riders handle the DS. Also, the last message made mention of DSaholic. Is that the same guy on the dune review video site?? If it is, what pipe does he use, 'cause it sounds mean!! That is the pipe I want.

St. Anthony's this summer!?
Well yes i an on the dune review site but Ithink that you are refering to DemonDS's DS he ran a ron woods pipe. If you are interested in riding over memorial day we will be at the sand hills resort from thursday night till monday. I have a MBRP full race pipe on order an will have it out for the first time that weekend. So you can check out that pipe also.
Angry we are staying at the sand hills resort so you would need reservations if you were to stay with us let me know if you are coming up so I know to look for you.

St. Anthony's this summer!?
I am begging for a response. You all have a lot more experience climbing Choke Cherry at ST. Anthony than I do. I make it about 2/3 then choke. I have a stock 2003 baja. The only aftermarket accessories are a K&N filter in the box and gecko paddles. What do I need to do to get to the top. I ride with a bunch of Z400 freaks and, although they can't make it either, they act like I shouldn't have a problem getting up. Will gearing or a pipe get me there?
I apologize if this question is in the incorrect forum.

Get rid of the Gecko's you would be better off with the stock tires.disgust; They shouldn't be allowed to sell Gecko's as a Sand tire, Try any straight paddle, you will like the differance.: The more you spend, the more fun you will have

Hey Johnny Raw! Well definatley lose the Geckos!!! I had exactly the same thing you have when I first went out to St. A's with my Baja, and I couldn't get up Choke cherry either! I was really pissed off about that!! It will take some straight paddles prefferably Skat-Trak extremes and gear down to a 15/42. Then get a new CDI and you will be able to climb anything there. At least in second gear anyway. If you don't already have a pipe I would definatley recommend that also!! I may be up there by the weekend of the 16th of May so if you want to tag along let me know.
