Well as angry said ditch the gecko's they are the worst sand paddle (wantabe) out there. As for climbing choke cherry I think that you would be able to do it with a good set of paddles and a rev box with a slip on. I have a bigger carb and can climb it in third till the very top and then have to shift into second. I am hoping that my new MBRP full race pipe will help with staying in third. Any ways we will be there from thursday till monday over memorial day so if you want to look us up we will be at the sand hill. Send me a PM and I will let you know what to look for if you are interested.
The edge paddles are good but the DS will tear the crap out of them and regular haulers. The extreme haulers are a good tire for the DS but they are real hard to find this time of year. A 20x10x10 or a 21x10x10 8 or 9 paddle would be good for your bike with the mods that are done to it.

I run the 10 paddle Edges and love them. They hook up just as good as the 8 paddle Haulers, I win alot of drag races with the v paddles, they are funner to ride but give excellent traction.
I will find out middle of june if they will make it up Choke Cherry and Devil's Dune!!!!!!!!!!!!!

eRaptoid, if you try and climb the face of Devils dune, please get it on Video and post. It's steep, it's as steep as sand can get. there's lots of faces of dunes like that at St Anthonys. I've only seen modded 250rs climb the face, they had no problem. I think I could do it on my Raptor but, Im to skeared. It's a long way to tumble back down. Wshrdskin, I've climbed straight up the face and over at Devil's dune. It's not something I like to make a habit of because it is a LONG way back down if you screw up. The bad part is keeping your speed up but not flying over the razorback and killing yourself on the other side. I will get a video of it next time I'm there. I see bikes do it quite a bit - but they're bikes not quads.
Hey I'll admit it too - I'm skeeeeered of that hill!!!! There's a bunch of those hillclimbs where you got to climba long, soft, steep hill and crest the razorback at top.

Back in "94" when I had my Banshee I was cruising up that hil for the first time and I didn't realize that the Razorback was so knarly!! Anyway when I go to the top I didn't slow down to much. And when I go there I thank the lord I had kept my speed up because some idiot was stopped right underneath of it. Well i ended up jumping right over the top of him on his 250R Quad racer and landed about 10 ft on the other side of him! My rear tire just barley touched the top of his helmet and I broke his flag. He was pretty pissed and so was I so we almost made an incident out of it, but being the cool headed person that I am we resolved it. we ended up tapeing the top of his flag to his helmet so he could finish the day!! I hav it on video or at least some of it but my buddy that was filming didn't get the best parts of it because he was freaked out when he saw I was going to Pancake the guy!! Jiminok can verify that!

Ok, I just got off of the phone with the Sand Hills resort. There are 2 spaces left at the resort for the 4th of July weekend. DSJockey and I just made our reservations (Thanks, DSJ for the heads-up). So if you want to camp there for the 4th call now: (208) 624-4127 is the number there.
