I did a search (so as not to be retarded). I did find 2 posts on the tail light. I just put a new 1157 in today and after riding for about 3 hours in the nasities rockiest place it didn't light. The thread said to buy an 1157 led bulb. What is that and where can I get one? Do I have to do any modifications. Are there any other fixes?

I picked up an LED bulb at Autozone a couple weeks ago. Good thing, too. I had to change out my taillight before I could ride last night.
I would think that most auto parts places would have 1157 red LED bulbs, especially the places that are going after the rice burner crowd. They have to use red taillight bulbs in order to run those clear lenses.

i have tried the long lasting bulbs and three differnt versions of Led setups, they all busted apart landing the big jumps, now i just run w/out the tail light at all, keep it in the tool box with a new LED bulb for if anyone says anything, when i go to glamis i just take a handfull of the things and replace them before the night rides. I do some hard riding and big jumps, i broke the filament in the headlight bulb this last weekend.
