Default Adjusting rear brake.

How do you do it? I have to puch the pedal a good 2 inches before it grabs.

sound like you needs pads not an adjhustment.

Even if you need pads, you shouldn't have to press the brake that far. Hydraulic brakes should be auto adusting for the most part. Check your pads, replace them if needed and see how it goes from there.

You probably need to bleed the brakes, mine is doing the same thing.

also, make sure your brake fluid is not low, as your brakes wear more fluid will be reqired to fill the lines and caliper when braking. If the fluid is too low, it can suck air into the line after you release the brakes.

So other than watching your fluid level, and keeping an eye on the pads for excessive wear, there is no adjustment needed. Angry is right, after you replace the pads, you will probably have to bleed the lines.

replacing pads should never cause the need to bleed. they would only need blead if lines have ever been loosened, or fluid level was ever allowed to get to low.

that's what I was trying to say, if the fluid goes to low. (because of break wear and lack of attention to fluid level).
