Default New Bomb - maybe some hope yet

Just for sh*ts and grins I looked at a old copy I had of the Bombs website comparison they did between the Raptor, Honda 400 and the DS650.. If the new Bomb is alittle shorter and narrower than the old ones it may not be too bad. check this out:

2003-2000 Bomb
length 77"
width 50"

Raptor
length 72"
width 43"

So it looks like the new bomb isn't going to be anywhere close to the Raptors dimension. Don't get me wrong I love the way my DS handles, but maybe just maybe the new narrower and shorter one may handle pretty close. Just a thought from a hopeless optimist.

p.s. anyone have a 14 or 15 front sprocket they want to sell.

yeah the new bomb will be sweet. they had to shorten the swingarm a bit to make up for the weight bias shift of shedding 17 off of it going to aluminum. this will make it fly much better, and wheelie easier.
the narrower width will help on the trails no doubt, but still be wider than the rest by far.
if I was gonna get a new quad soon, I'd hold out for the '04 definitely.
