I might be going to silver lake dunes this summer and from i've read in past threads i need a flag that is over 8' from the ground, a dnr? sticker n parking voucher on fri night, is this right?

 

It is a cool place, DNR is not to bad. Holiday weekends are nutty and crowded.

You need a dune voucher also, but the parking lot one is more important, the parking lot is small and fills up fast, you only need vouchers on the weekends. Email me for more info. wayneww3@attbi.com

been there several times! enjoy!!!! sugest you try to do some local trails as well,plenty in the area to ride. bring paddles and dirt tires if you plan to ride local. If you have never been there before there directional traffic along the steep hill side and plenty of wide open areas to play around in. The best way i can describe memorial weekend at silver lake is daytona beach on TESTOSTERONE!

well if i go we'll be staying at a lil trailor/cottage about 45mins north of silver lake, so we'll be doing some trail riding up there, and i'll probably just run my realtors in the sand, i can't afford paddles right now
