Default Coolant question...

I had a problem with one of my tubes for my antifreeze and all of that and I had to put new antifreeze in. I usually have it premixed 1/2 water 1/2 antifreeze. But this time I wasn't sure if i premixed it or not so I just poured whatever was in the bottle in to my radiator. Today the tubing from my hot water return line melted so I was wondering if not having enough antifreeze/water would do some long term damage wasn't riding with it like that for too long and I think thats why my tubing was melting because it didn't have enought antifreeze or water in the coolant. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't tell you for sure, however they auto parts store could sell you a coolant tester for like, $5 that will tell you the coolant to water ratio, then you'll have that question answered.

Perty much any Bike shop can order it for you if they don't already carry it. Just ask them for Engine Ice Coolant.
