Default Help I live in the land of California

Are the Kazuma 150 and 70 considered a red sticker or green in Communist California? I really want to buy one of each for my kids, great looking bikes, great price and good reviews on the bikes and service. Someting thats hard to find nowadays. Any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

They are 4 strokes (the ones I looked at are) So, you should be alright. To make sure, have the dealer or better yet, do it yourself. Check the "VIN" In California, if, the 8th digit is a "3" or "C", then DMV will issue you a red sticker.

Fireride,

As of September 21st of 04' all Redcat (kazuma) atv's are approved to be sold in the state of California. You will be issued a red sticker by the DMV.

I just bought my 8yo son the rfx110 from Raceway atv. The service has been great and so has the atv. If I were to do it again I would get the 150 MKII. Much better choice. 4" wider a arms, disk brakes, fully automatic, rear brake light, chain and disk guard.

Do you know why they will be issued a red sticker? I have heard of some 4 strokes being issued red stickers, that's why I suggest checking the VIN.

Fireride, I agree with you about not wanting to do the "red sticker" thing.

The bikes are approved to be sold in California but have not met CARB standards, so they are issued a red sticker.

Just to give you guys an update for the state of C.A:
Kazuma ATV's: 150 MKII cannot be sold to C.A The 110, 50, and KMZ 150 can be only "Red Stickers"
Yamoto ATV's: Only the 110 can be sold there "Green Sticker" You cannot sell the Yamoto 50, 70 or 150 to the state of C.A at this time. Unison 50 and 90 can be sold there "Red stickers" Will keep you posted!

Raceway, Thanks for the clarification For the record(like it matters) This red sticker stuff is crap. It's big time government going after the little guy, to solve a problem, that no one wants to take the "bull by the horns"I'll get off my horse now

Raceway, thanks for the info. And I agree the red sticker bites big time. Do they really believe what they are doing will make a difference?

NO way shape or form is it helping Did you read last week the new one? That belching dairy cows are "NOW" the major contributor to the smog problem When will it end?
