Default Meerkat 50, "Bang" when put into initial gear.

Hello everyone,

While I wait for my dealer to respond (emailed tonight), I wanted to ask for advice. Meerkat 50 was purchased three months ago.
Here's the problem description:
1). My son wants to ride. 2). I have him apply the brake and place the bike into gear. 3). The bike wants to lurch forward even with the brake applied. This problem only started recently. If the bike is initiated in first gear with the brake applied, a small "bang" noise is usually followed with the bike trying to lurch forward. If the bike is initiated in second gear, there's less of a lurch, but more of a click-click-click (spinning-clutch -rubbing-on-something noise). There are no issues when shifting from gear to gear (only from neutral to 1st, or neutral to second). Am I guessing correctly that something may be wrong with the automatic clutch assembly?

Ps. Glad to see Raceway ATV offering to pay taxes on purchases. Danielle was a sweetheart even though I did cancel my order due to the N.Y.S. tax.
