Default Kazuma KZM 150

I'm new to the forum. I got a KZM 150 from Raceway and had some problems at the begining. Put it together out of the crate without problems and started right up. But it sounded like someone banging on a emoty trash can. Took a look athe exhaust port and there was no header bolts. That was a easy fix. The problem I have is that I have no rear brakes. I tried bleeding it with one of those one man bleeder kits, got a good seal, all the bolts to the master cylinder are tight. But I still get a bunch of air bubbles coming through. I'm scratching my head on what to do next. Anybody out there got any suggestions on what I should do.
Also got a 50 from raceway and it was missing a battery. Called raceway a few times about and still got no battery. Has anyone got atv out of the crate with missing parts?

I would try bleeding the rear brake the old fashioned way, I don't know that the reservoir holds enough volume for a vacuum type bleeder. Try cracking the brake line at the master cyl to see if you are getting any fluid there (bleed the master cyl first). Then try bleeding it at the rear caliper. You sould be able to determine from there if either the master cyl. or the caliper is bad. Also, try talking with John at raceway. He normally goes out of his way to help his customers. Let us know how you make out. best of luck.

Nahoa, I took my two KMZ150's away this weekend for some trail riding with the family and I lost the back brakes on one of the atv's. Same thing as yours I think, no pedal, and it will not bleed out a steady streem at the caliper nor directly at the master cyl. Plenty of fluid etc. I am going to look at it more closely hopefully this weekend but I am leaning toward the master cyl at this point. good luck.

Update on master cyl. Took apart and cleaned with brake fluid/compressed air, found some dirt/forien material in slave cyl. Reassembled and system bled out fine.

Propertymaint, thanks for the update. I haven't had a chance to work on the brakes, but your info is much helpful. Thanks.
