Purchased a Yamoto 70cc a year ago from Raceway. Under the seat, where the battery is located, is a black electronic box. One end of the box has several multipin connectors and several single connectors. All are connected. At the opposite end of the box is a single black 20ga wire connected to nothing. Looks like it might have been at one time. Does anyone know if this wire connects to anything? If so, what. Ground? Thanks in advance, and my 7yr old loves his Yamoto.

Does it still run? Has anything changed? Can you post a pic on your profile page? Usually black is ground.

 

Yes it runs fine. I had to change the battery the other day and noticed the wire looked like it was out of place. It looked like it had been cut or pulled from a connector. I dont have any schematics so was wondering if anyone else with a 70 could look under the seat and see if the wire is terminated to anything.

if it has remote start and kill its probably the antenna wire
