Default Redcat v80 with very little power

I just bought a new v80 for my 7 year and she loves it, but it has no power. I bought a 50 for my 4 year old and it will go places that the 80 cant go. I am wondering if the centrifugal clutch on the 80 is bad or if I need to change the sprocket. It will go pretty good on a slope, but if it gets too steep it just cant make it. If I put a block or something in front of a tire it cant get over it. Any ideas? Other than that these little quads are awesome.

You might want to try look back through the forum a little bit. I've seen several posts on low power on the Redcat. Try the kids atv section of the forum too. Good luck.

Is the throttle limiter screwed in too tight? I just bought 2-110's for my kids and had to slow them down. There also is probably a restricter plate between the carb and the manifold. You can try removing it.

I'M IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, MY DAUGHTER HAS A VX-80 FROM REDCAT AND IT HAS CLEARED TRAILS, SMALL TREES AND ETC. I WILL ADMIT THAT THE CVT TAKES TIME TO GET USE TO....BUT I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSED WITH HERS. SEADAWG
