Default uni air filter

Still the foam filter can take a lot more than the k&n. You wont have to clean it so much. And
w/ that $35 jet kit, its still expensive just to get a k&n. Thats why I am sticking w/ uni.

Default uni air filter

Thanks I don't mind rejetting but the stock Carb is a Mikuni with auto choke and its on Mikuni websites but I'll be darned if I can find a jet kit for it. I have found the main jets but I am not sure if I need any other parts to do it correctly. any one know what you would normally change out in the carb??

Do yourself a favor and go to K&N's website........it will give you some valuable insight into the design and function of various types of air filters.
It discusses various air filter materials and their pro's and con's.
K&N tends to get some bad raps in this forum........not all deserved and many due to misinformation.....and or ignorance.
At least give yourself a chance to make an informed decission.

Im not saying k&ns bad I just prefer foam filters. and jet kits can be found at awsomebuggys.com or denniskirk.com
