Speed limiters on 150?
#1
Are there any speed limiters on a 150 atv besides the throttle screw? Is the stock cdi a speed
limiter. If so, is there an aftermarket cdi? Also stock vs. stock is the 110 really faster than
a 150? planning to give it more performance (a lot of people are now, too). And how much
more power can the 150 engine take from mods? Thanks

the stock cdi unit has a built in rev limiter. we drag race our grandkids with our 150 dingo, the 110 faster in a 300 ft race. power to weight ratio plays a big part. if you have the standard gy6 engine it can take all the mods you want to spent your money on, for parts go to www.awesomebuggys.com, www.miamimoto.com, www.bladeatv.com, you can buy big bore kits, 4 valve heads, cams, carbs. these mods are only for the honda 150 gy6 clones,

I didnt know they made such parts for a 150! I knew they made pipes but this is crazy! Too
bad I only have enough money for a few mods. I would hop my quad up if I had $1000
to spend on everything. thanks for the help.
