Thank you Tropical Depression Ernesto!

I would like to thank Tropical Depression Ernesto for TRYING to kill my labor day weekend. Thought you could ruin my ride plans for the weekend? The more mud the merrier.
I just wanted to create a positive post about chinese quads for a change. I have heard so many horror stories on here that bash chinese atv's. But after reading all of them, I come to a conclusion on most of them. Improper prep. I also keep hearing people trying to compare these quads to the big four and saying that they are junk, and unreliable. Just remember, when you buy Yamaha's, Suzuki's, Honda's, or Kawasaki's, you pay a price you will see listed on there called "Dealer Prep" or something similar. Stop buying Ebay Kazumas, Redcats, or whatever, and then calling them junk when your limited mechanical knowledge fails to prep the quad right. Remember, dealers have TRAINED service personnel prepping their quads, so therefore it is impossible to compare your chinese quad to one of theirs if you are not mechanically inclined.
My son's Kazuma Falcon 150 has kept up with every trail condition that I have thrown at it, my Yamaha, or my Suzuki. And it has never failed him. It has been through mud holes, rocky PA trails, corn fields (legally), hills, etc. And to the posts where I see people say to use these quads until they don't run any more and throw them away, the parts for these are dirt cheap when compared to name brand quads. Why on earth would you ever just throw it away?
What it boils down to for me is that some people will just always like the 'Big Four' and will never want to hear about any other type of quad out there, or will just verbally trash any other maker out there. Before you trash something just because it's chinese made, got through your house and just see how many things you rely on every day that are made in China. You might be surprised.
And now for my last thing. Does anyone know where you can get a set of aftermarket wheels for the Falcon 150's? They are a three lug wheel and this has been a challenge to find. HAVE A GREAT LABOR DAY WEEKEND ALL!!!!!!

Gotta agree with you. Got my daughter a Falcon deluxe, then bought my KMZ-150 a couple of weeks later. I assembled them then carefully checked all the nuts and bolts for tightness. Then we rode them very reservedly for a week while frequently checking for loose nuts/bolts. All that came loose were locktited or got a lockwasher. Adjusted the toe and generally worked them in. We've been riding the heck out of them ever since (for a few months now) without a problem. I've got trails all over my property now :-) And to think I was worried that they wouldn't have enough power to climb hills and stuff. The hill that my KMZ can't climb is the hill I would'nt want to attempt anyway! My buddies Polaris smokes me in the open fields, but I can run with him easilly in wooded trails and winding logging roads :-)

I'm glad to hear that yours are working great for you. It's good to hear something positive for a change. My son's Falcon beats my Yamaha 200 on a drag race, but I get him on top speed. And he keeps up on any trail my Ozark goes on. The only complaint I have is that the it is not real stable on rocky terrain. The handlebars will jump when he goes over any rocky terrain. But I am confident I will solve that issue with wheel spacers and larger name brand tires. Happy riding!
