Default Scram 400 question

I just rebuilt the top end on my scram. Started on the second pull and idles great. It even revs when you give it throttle in nuetral. Here's the problem....after I put it in forward and give it any gas it boggs bad. It will however accelerate ok if I keep the over-ride buttom depressed and it doesn't matter if you have it in 4wheel drive or not when depressed (didn't try to go very fast with button depressed, just fast enough to load it in my truck). It seems to back up fine though. I already took the carb apart twice myself and cleaned it out thoroughly and made sure the jets were A-OK as did a friend of mine also. Could this be cuased by hooking up the wrong wire in the wrong place on the lighting pod? I also put in all new fuel lines and cleaned out the clogged fuel selector so that it has full flow through it now. I also put in a new fuel filter and checked to make sure that I had flow through it. I already checked the air screw and it's still at 1 1/5 turnes out. I checked for leaks with spray, but didn't notice any extra rpm's when doing so. Well that's about all that I did so far. Any ideas? Anything would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks again!

Sounds like you could have a wire in the wrong place.Try disconnecting the override, and see what happens.

Default Scram 400 question

I seem to think that it is a wire crossed up on the reverse light on the lighting pod. If it were any kind of jetting or air to fuel issue, then it wouldn't move forward regardless whether I have it on over-ride or not. But I want to check the over-ride first. Is the over-ride wiring coming off the lighting pod, if not I didn't mess with any other wiring except for the instrument pod wiring. How do I check the over-ride wiring? Thanks again
