Hey Guys! Im looking to buy an atv for myself. Bought a kazuma falcon for my daughter last year, now its time for me one. I want a sport and have been looking at the JM 250. Anyone have experience with this one? By the way, Im 6' and go 230. Will it pull me with ease? Rode a Bayou250 this weekend and pulled me with no problem.

Welcome to the forum labguy! I weigh the same as you do and the 250 pulls me around pretty well. I havnt ridden a Bayou 250 but I would think the Jetmoto 250 is comparable in power.

Thanks for the info guys. I went four wheeler riding last weekend and never realized how much fun that is. As I said earlier, I bought my daughter a Kazuma Flacon 90 last year and that little thing has held up nicely considering what I paid for it. Other than puttering around in the back yard, thats the first time we really got that out on a trail and track. She did really good, kept up with the hot dog boys out there on their name brand bikes. I was very proud, lolol. Now that I see what a great time she and I can have, its time for me get one. I cant really afford the 5-6k big 4 models, so wanted to see which is the best. After reading some stuff around here, it appears that the JM is the way to go. Did a little research on the Viva line, Hi-Bird, and several others and cant really get past the cheap look they seem to have. I don't know a whole lot about 4 wheelers, so I certainly don't want to get stuck with something that will not pull me or bottom out everytime I go over a bump. Other than adding a 14 or 15 tooth front sprocket to the 250, any other things I need to know/do before I ride. "Mywifesquad"-you seem to have a huge amount of experience with these things so any tips and pointers you can give I would appreciate. I plan on ordering mine after the first of the year and I CANNOT WAIT. "outofline"-I saw the video of you and I assume your son riding yours in what appeared to be a desert setting. Where you really getting on the throttle or just cruising around. Thanks again for helping me.

Glad to be of some help labguy. I am pretty sure the '08 250's come with a 15 tooth sprocket.
