im planning on taking them down to where it goes up and cut it there so it just goes out 3 inches then up and cut the back of the front fenders maby. and im talking ABOUT OPENING IT UP BY REMOVING THE CENTER OF THE CAP SO ITS THE BIGGER DIAMETER

The motor needs a cretin amount of back pressure created by the Muffler so you may be making matters worse and noisy! Anyway the muffler is easy to disassemble just remove the 6 or so screws going around it! Glad to see your getting back on the Jet is it not winter (cold) where you are?

I would like to see a pic of the fenders when your done.
I have opened up the end of my muffler cap but it wasnt easy. I used my mill and a boring bar. The only reason I opened it up was the outlet for the '07 250 was smaller than the outlet on my '06 200. I have gone richer jets than are reccomended(by Raceway and Jetmoto) to get it to run correctly. I used the recommended jets for the 250 in my wifes 200 and it made a helped, off idle and warm up were improved.

I hope you dont mind me butting in outofline...
Out here in Ca I am just getting back into riding.(OK really mid Nov.) We really only have 2 seasons in Ca. Green and Brown. When it rains its green and its lots of fun.(about 4-5 months maybe) when it doesnt rain its Brown and the ground resembles concrete so much that a "blue groove" is made on the dirt from the tires sliding over it.

A Dremel tool is a great idea jetmotoracer.
Pics would be great.
Thanks, I am going to finish them tomorrow and get a pic of them on the quad. Im working on a sub mount now so the pegs can be mounted in the stock position as well as 1.5 to 2" lower. I think Im going to like a lower peg but wanted to be sure with all the time I have in them.

MWQ, you have not mentioned riding the 250 Jet sence your first trip out, is it fixed and up and running and have you taken it out again?</end quote></div>
Its become a work in process for some aluminum parts Im working on. It also isnt registered so I cant take it to any of my riding parks yet. I have been hoping/praying that the 250 would get green sticker approval.(kind of nice out here in Ca.) It doesnt look like its going to get green sticker approval anytime soon....so as soon as Eugene gets back from China Im going to get it registered.
In Ca with a green sticker you can ride all year long. With a Red sticker you can only ride in some places from oct to may.
