JM110 & JM125 Tie Rod Mounting Position
#1
My grandson's JM110 always had a LOT of 'bounce steer' (meaning that if you push down hard on the front bumper - as the quad 'squished down' the toe-in would change drastically). I always assumed that it was just a poorly coordinated design. While reading some old posts, I came across someone complaining about the bad 'bounce steer'. Raceway John posted the answer that the outer tie rod end should be 'pointed up' to be 'correctly' installed and give the proper front suspension geometry. I just wanted to repost the 'correct' tie rod assembly since no directions come with the quads and I wonder how many people assembled theirs 'wrong'. If you check yours and find out that they were put together 'wrong' (meaning that the outer tie rod end is pointing down), PLEASE just make a quick reply - 'yep. mine were wrong', so that I know if this post really helped anyone. Thanks.
