Hi,
I'm just wondering if you ever got a hold of John? I have been calling and sending emails to Raceway but no response...I purchased an ATV in December and Raceway has not provided the proper documentation to register it in California, meaning my son can't ride his quad. Any help? thanks,

I gave up as well. Seems a shame that someone would up and leave all of their customers hanging like that. I ended up calling the paying vendor on this forum that sells kids atvs. Check the banner at the top of the page. I bought a quad from them and couldn't be happier with the quality of the little jetmoto bike or the customer service from Jim. Give them a call, they may be able to help.

Well thanks and good luck with your Jetmoto. I loved mine. I just wish I could find someone to service it over here in Maryland.

Gone looks like you have had a run of bad luck. Sorry to hear about the Dingo and the gearing on the Jet. Any ideas what is causing your 4 and 5 gear issues? All my 4 Jets are still going, it's just about time for a Spring going over and oil change. I have rode them all with in the last couple weeks and with the exceptions of a couple dead batteries they all still go.
I had emailed Raceway about their Forum and got a reply from John just a couple weeks ago!

Everyone I've talked to say it's either a bent shift fork or damaged star gear which means the engine would need to be removed and the case split.

So knowing what you know now, would you buy Jet or Chinese again? I do still have my Red Jet 250 that burns oil, started when I fired them up the second spring start up. We ran it all last year and it still ran great just smokes. I plan to continue riding it this way. The thought of tearing it apart to replace the rings or what have you does not sound like fun right now.

WHICH make of Chinese ATV one buys...and WHO you buy it from, make a world of difference. (IMHO, Vbike seems to be the best dealer and brand of cheap Chinese bikes).

About 25 years ago, I worked for an importer of Chinese plumbing supplies. He sold the same items (with their quality control issues) that other importers/dealers sold....but he was diligent about checking his stuff and nipping any potential problems in the bud- and so we rarely had any returns- except for one particular item- and once he saw that a few people were returning that item, he had me start to inspect and fix his entire stock of that item- and when I discovered that most of the unoits were defective, he pulled them from his stock and resolved the problem with the manufacturer)

I'd imagine it's much the same (and more so) for ATV importers/dealers- only they have it worse, because they never know when a problem is a result of poor customer assembly or abuse. (Not saying that's the case here though...)

I'm sure Vbike is in the same situation Raceway is in and probably worse off, Raceway has been around longer and is a big parts supplier for all Chinese atv's! Vbike is just a importer, they state what they want their atv to look like and the in China manufacturers build it as close as they can. Jetmoto is just an Importer also!
