Jetmoto 150 - mud and water!
#1
I warned my kids not to drive it in water above the foot pegs as I wasn't too sure how well sealed up the CVT trans is on these things. It looks like you don't want water to get too high! Same goes with the fan cooled engine. I noticed on one of the MIC 150's they had a nice snorkle on the CVT vent (the front one with the rubbe tube) that went right up high to where the head light mounts.
Has anyone played around with one of these in deep water?? Its it game over once you get up to the engine shrowd?

About 4 years ago there were a couple of guys here with off road go cart. It had the Gy6 engine in it..i asked him about getting the magneto wet. He posted a couple of pics of his go cart going thru approx 18" of water. The thing looked like a submarine crossing that little river.

i had my V3 with the GY6 in deep enough where water was getting in the fan and it still ran and drove fine..it got itself out of the mud it was in just fine. id say if the fan got very deep into the water it would probably stall the engine if you let it idle then you would probably be in trouble

Here is a vid I found of a TaoTao 150 identical to my wifes going through a pretty deep mud/water hole, I was impressed.
