Default Kandi 110cc 2015 Buggy / Kart no Grunt and bog in forward

Kandi 110cc 2015 Buggy / Go Kart bog and no low end in forward.

I can’t even get the Buggy to go forward without a push even on concrete (no rider) and won’t go up any incline even with momentum (50lbs kid). Will go strong and 30+mph on a flat once it is going. What I have done:

1) New Carb
2) New NKG Plug
3) Not Lean or Rich
4) Idles well
5) New Clutch
6) Clutch properly adjusted CClockwise until friction then back 1/8 turn
7) New CDI
8) New Coil
9) Sprockets and Chain are in good condition and aligned.
10) Top/Front sprocket dropped from 14T to 12T!
11) Chain has plenty of play
12) No Issue with power or acceleration when up on jack
13) Rips up any hill in Reverse and has tons of power
14) Cart rolls by hand easily so Brakes are not locked
15) Gears spin freely
16) In forward it just sits and bogs until it is pushed and has good momentum but don’t’ even try and turn around because you wont go again.

I have spent hours researching and short of new Motor….PLEASE HELP

I would go back to clutching. Try adjusting it tighter and see if that makes a improvement. The resistance you are feeling may just be some crud on the threads or a bad thread and the clutch is still to loose. Also are you running clutch safe oil? I had a older quad where someone just tossed in any old oil and had the same symptom. After a few oil changes it was good again.

I did agree with you and have done that. Been through every 1/8 turn on the clutch adjust just because I could not see how the clutch was not the issue. You can't shift into gear if you go to far one way or the other anyway. Im am now leaning towards gearbox. Had two small engine guys look at this quick and ride the machine and they both think it is an odd issue knowing the clutch is ok. This sucks. It just has F-N-R

Mine had the same symptoms. I found out mine was the rectifier. Did you do a voltage check on it? Also, proper jetting helped my Joyner 250.

Honestly, don't know. I just know I was pulling my hair out wondering why I was getting those symptoms. I checked the output voltage while running and it was way too high, like it wasn't working. Replaced it and verified voltage was in range again and it ran a whole lot better as far as speed. It was a real dog prior.
