slow cranking

Default slow cranking

ok I have a Chinese atv. its an atv 109. battery had died and was junk so I was just jumping the atv with lawn tractor. iwas just hooking cables to the wires and jumping it. so now when I hook it up even to my truck its very slow cranking over like it has a dead battery. could starter be bad

u still have old battery in it? Battery could be pulling down your jumper connection the worse the battery gets. Its also hard on electrical components to run with a bad or no battery. Voltage regulator and such tend not to like it.

replace your battery with a good motorcycle battery and pull it out when not in use, every one of these atv's drains batteries. well every one that I have worked on does

Ditto, replace the battery. They are junk after 3 seasons.
