Hello everyone I just got a 300 4x4 Chinese quad for 40 bucks in mint shape the guy said it had been sitting for 2 years now I asked him if he knew what was wrong with it he said he was just riding and it died out and wouldn't start back up I'm a newbie with 4 whellers but I do no a little so I tested for spark and it did have spark drained fuel tried to start it and now it has no spark can someone give me advice please. .

 

start by checking your wire connections and grounds. Could be a dirty, loose, or bad connection

 

We have a saying in the boating world that can apply here as well...
"the most expensive boat you will ever own is one that is free" they usually cost more to fix than what they are worth....LOL

 

I remember one time on the tv show Pawn Stars they had to get a boat worked on and the guy they sent it to said boat stood for bust out another thousand. Sometimes you can find stuff relatively cheap. People sometimes will need money in a pinch and the toys are the first thing to go. Baby on the way, medical emergency, moving etc. I just saw what looked like a nice 400ex locally for sale for $800 that doesn't seem to need anything https://carbondale.craigslist.org/sn...424057783.html. I almost thought about buying it and flipping it and making a few hundred bucks or trading it for something else. Or just keep it and have myself a cheap sport quad.
