Default Smc 250 no spark

Hi, just wondered if anyone could help, I’m having the same problem and don’t have spark. Replaced the flywheel the stator and the trigger, still wouldn’t spark so changed the wiring harness for the whole quad, was then sparking and used it for a while but now dead again. Thanks

My one failure at getting a bike to spark is one of these things. I checked everything tried two new CDIs, one eBay China special which didn't work, and a genuine new Quadzilla CDI, still no spark, a used stator assy bought off eBay still no spark. Finally "jerry rigged" a Kawasaki DC ignition system and got nice fat sparks, so assume faulty exciter coils must not be producing enough voltage for the original AC system, on both the original and secondhand stators. Well over £100 in the hole on parts and still not a working Quad.

Ok thanks for getting back to me, if I remember correctly there was between 50-60vac from exciter coil, might of been more but would need to test again
