I don't know a lot about this model, I can't find a lot of info on it, just as few obscure posts and pictures. I bought what appears to be an older Jackel 250R, don't know the year because I can't find the VIN and the original owner had no info. Only info I have is someone was in the middle of installing a new wiring harness and it turns over but at the moment I have no spark. Kit looks like it came with new coil, start solenoid, and ignition switch. The start button on the handle works but I have no spark on the plug. I am wondering if anyone has or knows where to get either a repair manual or maybe just the wiring diagram for this thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

One of the most difficult jobs is to try to work out someone else's wiring modifications. I have tried Google, and it looks like Mid-Stream Marine - Jackel Bikes are still selling Jackels. It may be possible to get some information about the wiring from them. The pictures on Google seem to show a makers name on the engine cases, you may be able to work out, from the engine, what type of ignition system it has if you have to fit a "bare bones" style ignition system.
