My parents bought my son a 110cc Hawk. He has only put on around 5 miles. He hasn’t started it in about 1 month. Tried charging the battery it came with for about 4 hours. It’ll crank but won’t start. Any ideas? TIA

 

Take the plug out re-connect the plug lead and lay the plug against the engine, spin the engine over on the starter and see if there is a spark. If not, check any kill switches and try a different plug. If you still don't get a spark, either take it to a quad or motorcycle mechanic or do the tests in the "help diagnose stator" sticky in the engine problems section of this site. If you are getting a spark, it probably needs a carb clean.
