Default CDI 6 pin AC or DC

I started a new thread regarding the charging issues on my ATV I wrote in previous threads.

My old stator and magneto were not charging the battery. I ordered the new parts to change the complete charging unit ( magneto, stator and pickup coil).
My old stator was connected to the CDI so I would assume it is AC model of the CDI, but after investigating the parts on the net I am more confident that my actual CDI 6 pin model is DC.
Is it possible to run at all if the DC CDI is powered from the stator directly by AC??? because my ATV was working and running only issue was the battery drain.

I am asking this because I checked multiple sites and based on the CDI I have on the ATV and for the 172mm CN250 engine it all states that DC CDI is used.
Only mark on current CDI is 05-05 and it is 6 pin model.

I know this is the "long shot", checking if someone before changed the power for CDI, but believe me, in my country everything is expected from mechanics
