Coolster 125 runs, but won’t start with push button
#1
Atv was running fine a week ago with no issues. Now it will not start with the push button. Nothing happens, so it appears no power is getting to the starter relay through the small wires. It starts great if I jump it at the starter relay, so power directly from the battery is getting there fine. It must be a bad connection/wire/component somewhere with all the other electrical components.
one thing to note, front lights and neutral light are on when the engine is running. However, when I turn the key on and press the brake prior to starting, they do not turn on. Prior to this issue they would. Engine also turns off from the key, kill switch, or safety switch. Im not great with electrical, but do have a multi meter. Any thoughts on how to figure out the issue? Thinking maybe the push button itself is bad?
Thanks in advance!

Praska Boys Garage on YouTube. How to flip Chinese ATVs for profit. 125cc top end rebuild. Electrical issue fixed. He goes through the process of finding why it won't turn over with switch. He breaks up the video with a top end rebuild, but gets back to the electrical later. He's using a test light, but a multi meter will work also. Probably the switch, but I believe the solenoid can also produce similar results even if you can bridge it to start.
