Default Bought Chinese quad, it has no ignition switch help

Hi all, I've bought a quad (110cc hymoto?)
Bought it for a charity group to hopefully haul bits around a woodland.
I knew it didn't have the ignition/start stop w switch before buying, I thought I could just buy that part bolt on and plug n play... But....
I cannot find one to fit, I've bought a generic one that fits to handle bar but want to check wiring.

Colours are totally off.
On quad it's green/black

Pink
Blue/red
Red/white
Green/red

Can someone please explain these in simple terms and which are needed to switch on. And kill.

Thanks in advance

Sorry but those colours are very non standard. Most Chinese bikes use Honda's colour codes. Black/white for kill wire, green for earth etc. None of those wires comply with what Honda use for ignition, except possibly pink, which is sometimes live from main fuse. If you can't get hold of the correct wiring diagram, all you can do is trace where each wire comes from, to find out its function. Fist check if your ignition system is AC or DC as a totally different key system is used for the two types. Five wires is unusual too, and may indicate a combined ignition and light switch.

Certainly a challenge, I can trace wires if I strip plastics off, I'll try that when dry if no one else has come across such. Thanks for repjy

Easier to look for wires of the right colour in other places and "bell them out" to check if they are the same wire, or connected to the same wire.
