Default Kill switch wiring

The kill switch on my boys 110 atv burned up so I ordered a new one. It arrived and had female connection when it should have had male so I figure I’ll just splice it in. I followed where the colors connected each switch inside and matched the wire with the apposing color on the other switch locations but it kept popping fuses. I know it’s not going to go color to color. The upper actual kill switch on the old one has an additional green wire that jumps down to the start button and the new one doesn’t. What am I doing wrong here. These are the color comparisons from old to new.

Not much that anyone can do to help from pictures. Switches can work differently internally. I once fitted a Honda 300EX to a Honda 350, and the kill switch worked backwards afterwards. Best to draw out which wire does what on the original switch and match the new to it. However having the extra wire may mean the switches are incompatible anyway. What burnt out on the original switch? As you can often just by-pass the faulty part and use a Yamaha Kill button, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182472258...Bk9SR7b_9-aDYg which mounts directly on the handlebars, to replace whatever has failed, either as a kill or start button.
