I feel stupid for asking but does anyone know where this part goes? I replaced the stator and wiring harness and all the electrical parts just so the kid could have headlights and a tail light and can't remember where this dang thing goes..

 

That goes inside the stator cover. It holds the wires against the cover going out of the rectangle notch to the rest of the harness.
