Default Kazuma 110 falcon starter button issues

I have a kazuma 110 falcon and in order to get it to start I don't have to press the starter button you just have to hold the footbrake. I am pretty sure the previous owner might have broken the start switch into being permanently on or they tied the two together on the foot brake. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Easy enough to check. Get to the back of the start button and check if the switch is permanently closed.

That means the wire from the switch to the solenoid is either shorted out or connected to a wire it shouldn't be.
